Giving

As each student enters Ma’ayanot, we dream about her future and plan for a path that will enable her to excel academically while flourishing religiously, socially and intellectually. We invite you to explore the myriad opportunities described on these GIVING pages and to partner with us in our efforts to maximize the quality and range of  spiritual, educational and social programming offered to our students. Your support will help to ensure that the young women of our community succeed at the highest levels of Torah scholarship, academic achievement and professional accomplishment.

Ways to Give

Cash Gifts
Make your check payable to Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School or donate online by clicking on the donate button below. If possible, enhance the value of cash gifts by securing matching funds from your employer.

Gifts of Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds
The transfer of appreciated assets allows you to support Ma’ayanot while reducing exposure to capital gains taxes.  You are also able to claim immediate income tax deductions for these gifts.

Charitable Lead Trust
Allows you to contribute the income of income-generating assets to Ma’ayanot for a fixed period, after which the assets revert to you or your heirs.

LEGACY GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:

Endowment
An endowment gift provides a long-term revenue stream for the school. Endowment donations may be non-directed, thereby providing future support for the school’s operating budget, or directed, which allows a donor to name and provide long-term support for a scholarship fund, a graduation award, or a specific program that is particularly meaningful to the donor.

Your endowment gift will be professionally invested and managed for growth, and a portion of the earned annual income will be used to support your philanthropic priority. As the balance of the earnings will be directed back into the fund, your endowment gift has the potential to grow over time, creating an additional permanent source of funding for Ma’ayanot. This perpetual legacy of giving provides a meaningful way for you to convey your values to your children and to future generations.

Charitable Gift Annuity or Remainder Trust
By naming Ma’ayanot as the beneficiary of an annuity or remainder trust, you help to assure Ma’ayanot’s long-term financial security while securing for yourself annual income for life, eligibility for an immediate income tax deductions, and possible reductions in exposure to capital gains taxes.

Life Insurance
You may name Ma’ayanot as the owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Premiums on such policies are often tax deductible.

Charitable Bequests
Gifts made through wills, trusts or estate plans both reduce taxable estates and create lasting legacies.  Similarly,  Ma’ayanot may be named as the beneficiary of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) or Qualified Pension Plans.
