Community Service

At Ma’ayanot, we believe in educating the whole person, and place particular emphasis on developing our students’ sensitivity to the needs of others and dedication to contributing to a better world. With this goal in mind, we created our Community Service Program, which aims to teach our students, in a hands-on way, how to give back to the community.

The school requires that each student complete eight service projects throughout the academic year. Each year, the school distributes a booklet that lists various community service opportunities available to students. Your daughter’s mehanekhet is also a resource for her to help identify meaningful ways to fulfill her requirement.
